The Eisenhower Matrix

A square of four boxes built from two questions: is it urgent? is it important? Each quadrant gets exactly one verb.

Urgent + Important

DO

Crises, today's deadlines, problems with real teeth. Max three. If everything is DO, nothing is.

Not urgent + Important

SCHEDULE

Deep work, planning, relationships. This is where 80% of your leverage lives — and where most people never visit.

Urgent + Not important

DELEGATE

Employment errands, interruptions, "can you just" requests. Someone else can do 80% of this.

Not urgent + Not important

DELETE

Scrolling, mindless opening of tabs, meetings with no agenda. If it's been sitting 14 days with no goal attached, it's already dead. Let it go.
